Chicha - cider
Choclo - corn
Colectivo - taxi
Cordillera - mountain range
Criollo - typical or local
Estancia - ranch
Fundo - farm
Hacienda - large estate
Hoja de Coca - Coca-leaf
Huaso - Chilean cowboy
Local - shop in a shopping center
Micro - city bus
Pampa - plains
Pena - Restaurant or nightclub that features live folk music
Poblacion - Poor suburb
Portazuela - Mountain pass
Pukara - Fort
Quebrada - Ravine
Soroche - Altitude sickness
